A teenager and another person have been killed in a head-on collision.

Kentucky State Police said troopers responded to the crash Saturday night at approximately 11:50 in the 6300 block of Bowling Green Road about five miles north of Franklin in Simpson County.

The preliminary investigation showed that the driver of a GMC pickup truck, identity unknown at this time, police said, was traveling south on Bowling Green Road when the vehicle crossed into the northbound lane and struck a Mazda passenger car being driven by a 17-year-old male.

The GMC continued south in the northbound lane and struck another vehicle, being driven by 25-year-old Miracle Grana, of Bowling Green.

The driver of the GMC and the 17-year-old driver of the Mazda were pronounced deceased at the scene by the Simpson County Coroner’s Office.

Grana and her passenger, Katrine McCathron, were transported to TriStar Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee.

The investigation continues and is being led by Trooper Bo Hubbard.
