William Allen Butler, age 56, of Clarkson, KY, passed away Tuesday, (October 31, 2023) at his home.
He was born on March 30, 1967, in Indianapolis, IN, the son of Pauletta Kay West Butler and the late Paul Madison Butler.
William retired as a Veteran of both the United States Air Force and the United States Navy. He enjoyed socializing, working on the farm and going to antiques shops and eating out. He grew up as a member of the Baptist Faith and had more recently attended the Church of Christ.
He is survived by his son, Jessi Butler; a daughter, Melissa Butler; two surrogate children, Jaidan & Brayden; a grandchild, Dakota Smith; a brother, Paul Butler; two sisters, Terri Vincent & Angela Elmore, and his mother, Pauletta Kay Butler. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Other than his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, Harold Butler.
Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m. CST Tuesday, (November 07, 2023) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield.
Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. CST Tuesday until time of services.
Burial will follow on Wednesday (November 08, 2023) at 11:30 CST in the Kentucky Veteran’s Cemetery Central in Radcliff, KY.
