Freddy Arlen Parsley, 98 of Bowling Green passed away Saturday, December 30, 2023, at The Medical Center of Bowling Green with his family around him. Born August 11, 1925, in Edmonson County, KY. He was the son of Fred G. Parsley and Naomi Wilson Parsley.

He retired from Eaton Corporation after 23 years of service. He farmed for many years on his farm in Anna, KY. Eventually, he sold the farm and moved to Rockfield, KY where he lived until his death. He was a member of Providence Knob Baptist Church in Rockfield, KY.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Regina Odema Parsley, a daughter; Cynthia Parsley; a sister, Cova Parsley Davis; brothers; Arwell, Wayne, and Ray Parsley.

Survivors include; son, Don Parsley and his wife, Justine, of Bowling Green; twin daughters, Jenice Bratcher and her husband, Larry, and Janice Logsdon and her husband, Gary, of Leitchfield; a daughter, Freda Elder and her husband, Ricky; 10 grandchildren, Laura Altimus, Erin Farmer, Shary Newton, Bonnie Block, Rebecca Lieber, Christy Elder, Farrah Logsdon, Emily English, Angela Bratcher and Joseph Logsdon; ten great-grandchildren, Ashley Terry, Madison Farmer and David Farmer, William Newton, Bryanna Newton, Evelyn Lieber, Callum Lieber, Benjamin Block, Breanna Block, and Lynnlee English; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Tuesday, January 2, 2024 from 4pm until 7pm at the J.C Kirby &  Son Lovers Lane Chapel and from 8:30am until 10am on Wednesday with funeral service conducted at 10am at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
