A man has perished in a logging accident in Barren County.
The accident occurred Monday morning at approximately 8:00 when a tree fell on a 38-year-old Hispanic male as workers were logging in the area. The accident happened on Milburn Taylor Road, about 15 miles south of Glasgow.
No other injuries were reported.
The victim’s body has been transported to the state Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy.
The man’s name has not yet been released.
