A juvenile has been arrested in Hardin County in connection with several thefts and shootings dating back to summer 2023.

The crimes, according to the Radcliff Police Department, were perpetrated in and around Radcliff and Vine Grove.

“Items taken in these thefts include several firearms, and in a few cases the vehicles themselves were stolen and recovered in several locations,” Radcliff police said. “Over the next few months several other crimes were committed to include more vehicle break-ins, along with some residential burglaries, and 2 non-fatal shootings that occurred within the city of Radcliff.”

After several months of investigation, Radcliff police have arrested a 17-year-old male and charged him with six counts of felony wanton endangerment and two counts of theft of a firearm. Additional charges are pending “in other jurisdictions from separate offenses that occurred in conjunction with our investigation,” police said.

The suspect is currently incarcerated.

Assisting with the investigation were the ATF, Louisville Metro Police Department, Vine Grove and Hillview Police Departments, and Franklin, Shelby and Hardin County Sheriff’s Offices.
