
A Lawrenceburg man has died in an industrial accident.
Gregory Dever, 47, a manufacturing engineer at Montaplast of North America, was critically injured early Saturday morning after suffering “crushing injuries” at the company’s manufacturing plant on Hoover Boulevard in Frankfort, according to The State Journal.
Dever was initially transported to Frankfort Regional Medical Center before being transferred to University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center where he was later pronounced deceased.
The death is being investigated as an accident.
Montaplast produces plastic precision parts and systems for the automotive industry and household appliances. The company was founded in 1992 in Frankfort, and has development centers and sales offices around the world, according to the company’s website.
