Grayson County is preparing to sue an unknown entity for allegedly damaging a county roadway.

Grayson County Fiscal Court on Thursday held a 21-minute Executive Session to discuss potential litigation. Upon emerging from the private meeting, Judge-Executive Kevin Henderson said the county is preparing a lawsuit.

“We’ve been discussing potential litigation, and we need to get a motion from the court for (County Attorney) Jeremy (Logsdon) to proceed with a lawsuit, with some damage to a road within the county,” Henderson said.

While Henderson did not mention the defendant[s] in the upcoming court action, he did say: “Once the lawsuit is filed with the court, we will then release the names and the location.”

Logsdon told K105 that the lawsuit will be filed in the next few weeks.
