
Janice Lou Hardin, 82, of Huff passed away July 12, 2024 at Western State Nursing Facility in Hopkinsville.
The Edmonson County native was a former employee of Brownsville Manufacturing and a member of Red Hill General Baptist Church. She was a daughter of the late Clyde Carmon Johnson and Elvie Meredith Cox and the wife of the late Silvan Rinzo Hardin. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Angela Hardin; a son, Ricky Hardin; and a granddaughter, Julie Hardin.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday at Gravil Funeral Home with burial to follow in Doyle Cemetery. Visitation will take place after 11:00 AM Wednesday.
Surviving are a son, Steve “Suds” Hardin of Roundhill; two sisters, Clydene “Cotton” Bell of Martinsville, IN and Shirley Rector of Indianapolis; a half-brother, Jesse Anderson of Florida; a half-sister, Belinda Tate of Georgia; three grandchildren, Christina Hardin, Barbara Jean Reneau (Steven) and Billy Hardin; thirteen great grandchildren, Scarlet, Emerlyn, Sophia, Erin, Adam, Madison, Jesse, Lilly, Wyatt, Delilah, Julia and Abel; and several nieces and nephews.
