A Breckinridge County man has been killed after a motorcycle crossed the center line.
Kentucky State Police said troopers responded to the accident Saturday at approximately 5:10 p.m. in the 1500 block of Hwy 144 in Breckinridge County.
The investigation revealed that 58-year-old William T. Dowell, of Sample, was driving a Harley-Davidson motorcycle when he failed to negotiate a curve and crossed the center line and into the path of a 2024 Hyundai, ejecting Dowell from the motorcycle, according to Kentucky State Police.
He was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Breckinridge Co. Coroner’s Office.
The Hyundai was being driven by 35-year-old Breeanna Adams, of Henderson. She was unhurt in the accident.
The crash remains under investigation by KSP accident reconstructionist, Det. Kevin Dreisbach.
