Grayson and surrounding counties are under a Winter Storm Warning.
The National Weather Service (NWS) says “heavy mixed precipitation is expected” during the winter weather event.
“Total snow accumulations between three and five inches and ice accumulation around a light glaze. Locally higher snow totals are possible with heavy banded snow,” the NWS said.
Based on future radar, a band of snow is expected to arrive in Grayson County between 2:00 a.m. and 3:00 a.m. Tuesday.
The Winter Storm Warning is in effect until Wednesday at 6:00 a.m.
