Brian Kelly Carnes, 56, of Mammoth Cave passed away Feb. 9, 2025 at Hospice House in Bowling Green.
The Edmonson County native was an auto body repairman/painter, a 1986 graduate of Edmonson County High School and took great pride in growing giant watermelons cantaloupes and cabbage. He was a son of Colin Kelly Carnes of Mammoth Cave, who survives, and the late Sue Ellen Jaggers Carnes.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday at Gravil Funeral Home with burial to follow in Cove Hollow Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 12:00 PM Thursday.
Surviving in addition to his father are a son, Nick Davis of Smiths Grove; a brother, Mark Allen Carnes of Mammoth Cave; and a special cousin, Anna Jaggers Mello of Mammoth Cave.
