A multi-agency investigation is underway after a woman was found deceased in a residential fire in Warren County.
The Warren County Sheriff’s Office responded to the blaze Monday evening at approximately 6:55 after members of the Richardsville Fire Department discovered the body of a deceased female inside a home as firefighters battled a blaze in the 8000 block of Hwy 185.
The body was transported to the state Medical Examiner’s Office in Louisville for an autopsy.
The Warren County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division, state Fire Marshal’s Office, Bowling Green Fire Department arson investigators, and the Warren Co. Coroner’s Office responded to the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
