A Grayson County teenager has been critically injured after being struck by a vehicle.
The incident occurred Tuesday afternoon at approximately 5:10 at the intersection of Brandenburg Road and Lilac Road. The female victim, a senior at Grayson County High School, was struck by at least one vehicle near the intersection.
She was transported by EMS to Owensboro Health Twin Lakes Medical Center before being transported to Norton Children’s Hospital.
In addition to EMS, the Leitchfield Police and Fire Departments responded to the scene.
The Leitchfield Police Department is investigating the accident.
