A man has been arrested after he was found with a 15-year-old runaway in Allen County.
K105 reported Tuesday morning that Allen County authorities were searching for Ava Michelle Stanger. She was last seen on Friday at 5:00 p.m. leaving a residence on Macedonia Road in Adolphus.
She was considered a runaway.
On Tuesday afternoon, the Allen County Sheriff’s Office said the investigation led the Allen County-Scottsville Crime Task Force to a residence on Bandy Road, about 15 miles southeast of Scottsville.
Upon arriving at the home, police made contact with the occupant, 24-year-old Dalton Eubank. While being questioned, Eubank said the juvenile was inside the residence. He also admitted knowing the girl’s age and that she was missing, according to the Allen Co. Sheriff’s Office. Eubank added that the girl had been at his residence for a “couple of days.”
Stanger was found, unharmed, inside the home.
Eubank was arrested and charged with custodial interference and lodged in the Allen Co. Detention Center.
