Multiple students and a bus driver were injured in an early-morning school bus accident in Todd County.
Todd County Schools in a social media post said Tuesday morning: “A Todd County School District’s bus was involved in a traffic accident. Several students have been transported to local hospitals. The driver of the other vehicle has also sustained injuries.”
The accident occurred Tuesday morning at approximately 6:40 on Hwy 68 when a school bus was turning from Williams Hill Road onto Hwy 68. The bus, while making the turn, collided with a westbound truck that was pulling a trailer, according to a report by WEKT.com.
The bus had six students on board, as three of the students, the bus driver and the driver of the truck were transported to a local hospital with what appeared to be non-life threatening injuries.
