75-year-old man missing from Todd Co. found 715 miles away

An elderly man missing from Todd County has been found in Pennsylvania.

The Elkton Police Department said 75-year-old Hopkins Taylor left his residence in Elkton on April 23.

“Law enforcement in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, made contact with Taylor on either April 24 or 25 and transported him to a hotel on Harrisburg Pike in Carlisle,” according to Elkton police.

Taylor, though, did not check into the hotel, as Elkton police said he had not been “seen or heard from since.”

Then, on Tuesday, Elkton police said Taylor had been found and was safe in Carlisle.

Carlisle is approximately 715 miles from Elkton.

K105 reported Wednesday morning that a Hart County High School student who disappeared on April 29 after getting off a school bus in Munfordville was found on Sunday in Eaton, Ohio, approximately 230 miles from Munfordville.

The juvenile has been safely returned to Hart Co.
