Kenneth Curtis Webb, age 87, of Grayson County, KY, passed away peacefully on Saturday, (May 10th, 2025) with his loving wife Rose at his side. He was born on December 8, 1937 in Pearman, KY, the son of the late Henry Clay Webb and Ruby Logsdon Webb.

He was a dedicated husband to Rose Powell Webb for 63 and a half years and a loving father to Greg and Ricky Webb. Curtis was “Papaw” to Staci, Daniel, Benjamin, Amanda, Andrew, Nathan and Noah.
Curtis was a deacon at Broadway Missionary Baptist Church for over 50 years and a member for more than 60.

He was saved, bowed down on an old flowered couch in a neighbor’s home. He enjoyed planting in the garden and sharing his harvest with family and friends. Curtis especially enjoyed hunting and fishing with his sons and other members of the family. He loved his family dearly and treated his in-laws like brothers and sisters. He was a Veteran of the United States Army.

He is survived by his wife Rose Webb; his children, Gregory Webb (Stephanie) of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina and Ricky Webb (Dixie) of Leitchfield, KY; seven grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren; and a sister, Clayetta Webb Payne of Louisville, KY. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, brothers and sister-in-law’s, and dear friends.

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Helen Wilson, and his brother, Lynn Webb.

Curtis spoke his last words to Rose, saying “I love you” with tears in his blue eyes. He lifted his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren in the air or bounced them on his knee when we were young and provided support to the best of his ability financially and with words and actions to lift up our souls and spirits when we needed it the most.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, (May 15, 2025) at the Broadway Missionary Baptist Church. Bro. Wayne Wells, Bro. Hank Gibson, and Bro. Joe Brooks will be officiating. Burial will be in the Broadway Cemetery.
