A young Adair County man has died in a single-vehicle accident.
Metcalfe County Sheriff Lonnie Hodges told WNKY.com that deputies responded to the crash on Delk Branch Road, about six miles east of Edmonton, early Tuesday morning.
Upon arriving at the scene, police found that 22-year-old Dylan B. Willis, of Columbia, was traveling east when the vehicle dropped off the roadway, resulting in Willis overcorrecting and the vehicle leaving the roadway.
The vehicle then struck a guardrail and multiple trees.
Willis was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Metcalfe Co. Coroner’s Office.
He was a 2020 graduate of Adair Co. High School, according to his obituary.
