A woman has been charged with attempted murder after being accused of stabbing a man in Glasgow during a domestic violence incident.
The Glasgow Police Department said officers were dispatched to a residence on Frazier Avenue on Wednesday on the report of a stabbing. Upon arriving at the scene, police located a male standing in the roadway suffering from a stab wound.
“Officers determined that a domestic situation had taken place,” according to Glasgow police, where the suspect, 39-year-old Abbie R. Sovine, of Glasgow, stabbed the victim with a knife.
The male victim was transported to T.J. Samson Community Hospital before being transferred TriStar Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee.
Sovine was charged with attempted murder (domestic violence) and lodged in the Barren County Detention Center on a $250,000 cash bond.
