A man was injured after an SUV pulling a trailer loaded with a lawn mower crossed the median of the Western Kentucky Parkway and hit a rock wall near Clarkson.
Grayson County Deputy Joel Baker, the Clarkson Fire Department, Clarkson Police Chief Buck Meredith, and EMS responded to the crash Wednesday evening at approximately 6:00 at the 115-mile marker of the eastbound parkway, about three miles east of Clarkson.
Upon arriving, first responders were told by witnesses that a westbound 2018 Chevrolet Tahoe, pulling a lawn mower on a trailer, eased into the median before entering the eastbound lanes while traveling west.
The Tahoe then left the roadway off the eastbound shoulder, traveled in a ditch line for a short distance before hitting a rock wall.
The male driver was transported by EMS to Owensboro Health Twin Lakes Medical Center with apparently non-life threatening injuries.
