Cars collide on South Main St. in Leitchfield

One person was transported to the ER after a two-vehicle crash on South Main Street in Leitchfield.

The Leitchfield Police and Fire Departments and EMS responded to the accident Friday night at approximately 6:05 at the intersection of South Main Street and West White Oak Street.

Police said the investigation showed that a Ford Fusion traveling south on South Main Street, and a Kia Soul turning left from South Main Street onto West White Oake Street, collided.

The elderly female driver of the Kia was transported by EMS to Owensboro Health Twin Lakes Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries. No one in the Fusion was injured.
