Grayson County High School’s Jack Logsdon has received an offer to play college basketball at Western Kentucky University.

Logsdon led the Cougars in scoring last season by averaging 21.0 points and 6.8 rebounds.

The rising junior had a monster postseason by adding 135 points across five games to help lead Grayson County to the region championship game for the first time since 2009.

With those marks, Logsdon became the first Cougar basketball player to be recognized as all-state since his head coach, Travis Johnston (2009, 2010).

He has already become the second leading scorer in program history and will enter the new year just 550 away from passing Johnston as the all-time leader.

Western Kentucky ranks 18th all-time in wins in college basketball history and is currently coached by Hank Plona, who will be entering his second season on the Hill in 2025/26.

Logsdon and the Cougars will be back in action this weekend in the KABC Summer Shootout in Lexington.
