A driver avoided serious injury after a Corvette left Lilac Road.
The Leitchfield Police and Fire Departments and EMS responded to the accident in 200 block of Lilac Road on Thursday night at approximately 7:35.
The investigation showed that a 2008 Corvette, being driven by a Grayson County man, was traveling south on Lilac Road when the driver lost control and nearly left the south lane of the roadway before traveling across both lanes and exiting the road.
The vehicle jumped a concrete drainage channel and entered a yard where the Corvette hit a small tree, made a right turn and struck the drainage channel.
The male driver, while shaken, refused treatment and transport.
