A woman has died in an ATV wreck in Perry County.
The Perry Co. Sheriff’s Office said deputies were dispatched Thursday evening to Leatherwood Off-Road Park, approximately 15 miles south of Hazard, on the report of an ATV crash.
Upon arriving at the scene, police found that 67-year-old Melanie L. Ingram, of Milan, Indiana, had been “partially ejected from an ATV that resulted in her death,” according to Perry Co. Sheriff Joe Engle.
She was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Perry Co. Coroner’s Office.
No other information was released.
