A 23-year-old Hopkins County man has died in a concrete truck accident in Muhlenberg County.
The Muhlenberg County Sheriff’s Office told WFIE.com that the accident happened Tuesday morning at approximately 6:00 on Hwy 937 near the intersection of Rust Lane, about 15 miles southeast of Greenville.
Police said Austin Skimehorn, of White Plains, was driving a concrete truck north on Hwy 973 when the vehicle left the roadway in a curve and struck an embankment.
Skimehorn was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Muhlenberg Co. Coroner’s Office.
