
The body of a 13-year-old boy was pulled from the Ohio River.
The body of Derrick Saunders Jr. was discovered in the river Wednesday morning near the Greenwood Boat Ramp, the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office told WDRB.com.
He was swimming with friends on Monday night at around 8:30 when he jumped into the water from the boat ramp and failed to resurface.
The coroner’s office ruled his death an accidental drowning.
