Ohio Co. nursing home offering reward for info on who stole catalytic converter off transport van

An Ohio County nursing home is asking for help finding the person who stole the catalytic converter off a nursing home vehicle.

Beaver Dam Nursing & Rehab, at 1595 Hwy 231 south, said in a social media post that it was “the target of theft, which will directly impact our residents. We are deeply saddened to share that someone crawled underneath our residents’ bus and removed the catalytic converter, rendering it inoperable.”

The nursing home is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the individual[s] responsible for the theft.

“A report has been filed with the Ohio County Sheriff’s Office and an investigation is underway,” the nursing home said.
