An Ohio County man is facing a total of 24 counts of first-degree rape and first-degree sodomy.
The Ohio County Sheriff’s Office arrested 37-year-old Daniel Ray Berryhill, of Beaver Dam, and charged him with six counts of first-degree rape, 18 counts of first-degree sodomy, 24 counts of unlawful transaction with a minor, possession of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor, use of a minor (under the age of 16) in a sex performance, procuring a minor by electronic means, and custodial interference.
The sheriff’s office offered no details on the alleged offenses, but it appears by the charges that Berryhill is accused of raping and sodomizing a juvenile.
He was lodged in the Ohio County Detention Center on two bonds totaling $262,500.
Berryhill, according to online records, was arrested in March 2025 in Ohio County and charged with DUI, possession of methamphetamine, second-degree criminal simulation, promoting contraband, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
