Two people suffered apparently slight injuries during a nasty rear-end collision on Owensboro Road (Hwy 54).
Grayson County Chief Deputy Sonny Poteet, the Leitchfield Fire Department and EMS responded to the crash on Wednesday afternoon at approximately 3:35 in the 2700 block of Owensboro Road.
Upon arriving at the scene, first responders found that, according to a witness, a Nissan Kicks, being driven by an elderly Grayson County woman, turned onto Owensboro Road traveling west when the vehicle was struck in the rear-end by a westbound Chevrolet Silverado, being driven by a male from Grayson County.
Initially, both drivers refused transport, but later decided to go to Owensboro Health Twin Lakes Medical Center by private means.
