A one-year-old has drowned in a pool at his residence.
The incident happened in Williamsburg in Whitley County on Friday evening at approximately 7:20 when the 16-month-old baby was found in the family pool, according to Kentucky State Trooper Scottie Pennington.
The child was transported to Baptist Health Corbin where he was pronounced deceased by the Whitley County Coroner’s Office.
Kentucky State Police is leading the investigation.
