A popular convenience store in Eastview has been robbed at gunpoint.
The Hardin County Sheriff’s Office said the robbery occurred on Monday, June 30, at approximately 10:30 p.m. at Eastview Food Mart, located at 13420 Leitchfield Road (popularly known as Four Corners).
According to investigators, an unidentified suspect entered the business, displayed a firearm and demanded money from the clerk. The suspect fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash. No one was injured in the robbery.
The case is being investigated by the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division.
“Detectives are reviewing surveillance footage and following up on leads … The Hardin County Sheriff’s Office appreciates the public’s assistance as the investigation continues” the sheriff’s office said.
