A Daviess County man has admitted to having a sexual encounter with a juvenile.
The Daviess County Sheriff’s Office arrested 35-year-old George Baize III, of Maceo, on Tuesday morning and charged him with third-degree rape, third-degree sodomy, first-degree sexual abuse, and illegal transaction with a minor (for illegal sex act).
The charges arose after Baize was accused of having sex with a 16-year-old girl at a party, according to a report by WFIE.com.
While under questioning by police, Baize admitted to having sex with the girl.
He was lodged in the Daviess County Detention Center on a $250,000 cash bond.
