A young Grayson County woman was injured after she was t-boned at a Leitchfield intersection.
The Leitchfield Police and Fire Departments and EMS responded to the crash at the intersection of West Main Street and South English Street Tuesday night at approximately 10:50.
Upon arriving at the scene, Leitchfield police said they found that a Pontiac G6 was traveling east on West Main Street when a Ford Fusion, traveling south on South English Street, t-boned the Pontiac on the driver’s side door.
The Ford, after hitting the Pontiac, struck a building’s rock wall and a parked Chevrolet Impala, causing minor front end damage to the Chevy. The wall suffered only cosmetic damage.
The female driver of the Pontiac was transported by EMS to Owensboro Health Twin Lakes Medical Center. Police said the three juveniles in the Ford were not injured.
(Due to an unforeseen circumstance, K105 was not able to confirm the ages of those involved in this accident. The occupants of the Ford appeared to be juveniles, and the driver of the Pontiac appeared to be a little older.)
