Floyd Roger Milliner, age 70, of Clarkson, passed away Wednesday, (July 23, 2025) at University of Louisville Hospital in Louisville, KY. He was born on December 28, 1954 in Louisville, KY, the son of the late Ambrose and Thelma Milliner.

He retired from Leggett and Platt, where he proudly worked as a Forklift mechanic and Driver. He had a deep love for anything with rubber tires and a motor-whether it was fixing, building, or simply admiring it, machines were in his blood.

He found peace in woodworking, joy in harvesting from his garden, and comfort behind the wheel of his ’77 F100, which he dearly loved. But nothing brought him more happiness than being a papaw to his grandbabies and Julia’s “Dyod.” His hands were always busy, his heart always full and his love for family and friends ran deep.

He is survived by his wife, Kay Milliner of Leitchfield; children, Brittany Huff (Elton) of Clarkson, Brennon Milliner (Meagan) of Upton, and Blake Milliner (Dylan) of Leitchfield; eleven grandchildren, Dylan, Jacob, Jonney, Wyatt, Sophie, Tucker, Olivia, JoAnna Lynn, Collin, Dean and Lucille; brothers, Timmy Milliner (Kathy) and Joe “Pud” Milliner both of Leitchfield; and a brother-in-law, Allen Clemons of Leitchfield: several nieces and nephews, Brandy Dermitt (Brad), Brad Clemons (Ali), Matt Milliner (Jasmine), Adam Milliner, Mandi Towne, Amelia and Alyssa Milliner, and Emily Nichols (Curtis); great- nieces and nephews; Isaac, Brayden, Breanna, Caroline, Pierce, Emerson, Evander, Lydia, Lincoln and Julia.

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his infant son, Christopher Jared Milliner and a sister, Loretta Clemons.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, (July 29, 2025) at the Pleasant Valley Missionary Baptist Church in Clarkson. Burial will be in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday and from 9:00 a.m. Tuesday until 1:30 p.m at which time we will head to the church for services.
