A plane has gone down in Breckinridge County.
The Breckinridge County Sheriff’s Office told WXBC.com that the single-engine Piper PA-32 aircraft, commonly known as a LANCE plane, crashed “not far from the end of the runway” at Breckinridge County Airport, just east of Hardinsburg, on Thursday morning at approximately 10:00.
The plane was carrying two people. Both occupants exited the plane under their own power.
They were transported by Breckinridge trCo. EMS to an unknown hospital.
The FAA and National Transportation Safety Board are leading the investigation.
