One person has been killed in an ATV crash in Daviess County.
The wreck happened Sunday morning at approximately 1:15 at the intersection of Hwy 951 and Hwy 1513 near Knottsville, about 12 miles east of Owensboro.
Upon first responders arriving at the scene, they found an ATV about 10 feet off the roadway. The victim, a male, was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Daviess Co. Coroner’s Office, according to media reports.
The Daviess Co. Sheriff’s Office investigation showed that the ATV was traveling on Highway 951 when the driver lost control in a curve, causing the vehicle to leave the road and hit a tree.
The investigation is ongoing.
