A juvenile has been killed in a two-vehicle crash in Ohio County.
Kentucky State Police said troopers responded to the wreck Wednesday morning at approximately 12:20 on Hwy 62, just west of Beaver Dam.
The state police investigation showed that a 17-year-old from McHenry was traveling east on Hwy 62 in a 2019 Chevrolet Malibu when the vehicle crossed the centerline and hit a westbound 2008 Dodge Ram, being driven by 28-year-old Diana Sanchez, of Beaver Dam.
The juvenile was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Ohio Co. Coroner’s Office.
Sanchez was transported to Owensboro Health Regional Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The investigation is ongoing by Kentucky State Police.
In addition to KSP and the coroner’s office, responding to the scene were the Ohio Co. Sheriff’s Office, Beaver Dam Police Department, Hartford and Beaver Dam Fire Departments, and EMS.
