A motorcyclist has been killed in a crossover crash.
Kentucky State Police said troopers responded to the wreck Friday afternoon at approximately 3:10 on Ladder Lane Road in Carrollton.
State police said its investigation showed that 68-year-old Ernie Proffitt, of Florence, Indiana, was driving a 1999 Harley-Davidson when a 2021 Chevrolet Cruze, being driven by 51-year-old Elvis S. Alarcon, of Carrollton, crossed the center line and struck the Harley-Davidson.
Proffitt was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Carroll County Coroner’s Office.
