An Edmonson County man has been found guilty of multiple child sex and child porn charges.
Bobby J. Bishop Jr., 47, of Brownsville (his address has also been listed as Rocky Hill), has been found guilty of first-degree unlawful transaction with a minor (victim younger than 16), promoting a sexual performance by a minor (victim younger than 16), two counts of unlawful use of electronic means to induce a minor to engage in sexual activities, two counts of third-degree rape, and two counts of third-degree sodomy, Warren Co./Edmonson Co. Commonwealth’s Attorney Kori Beck Bumgarner told WNKY.com.
K105 reported in August 2024 that the Warren County Sheriff’s Office arrested and charged Bishop with the counts he was recently convicted of after he was discovered to be sexually abusing juveniles in both Edmonson and Warren counties.
He will not be eligible for parole until he’s served 20 years. Formal sentencing is scheduled for October 14.
