A Grayson County business was damaged in an early morning fire.
The Falls of Rough Fire Department responded Monday morning at approximately 5:05 to a fire at Grayson County Collision Center at 9667 Falls of Rough Road.
Upon firefighters arriving at the scene, a fire inside the building had been extinguished, but there remained an active fire inside the structure’s wall, according to Falls of Rough Fire Chief David Mercer.
Firefighters spent around an hour putting out the blaze and conducting an overhaul of the building.
The fire, Mercer told K105, began at 1:49 a.m. Monday, as the chief said it appeared on surveillance video that a refrigerator exploded.
No injuries were reported. Firefighters cleared the scene a little after 6:00 a.m.
