The Bardstown Police Department is searching for the thief who stole several hundred dollars worth of Little Debbie snacks from a storage facility.
In a Facebook post, the department asks, “What would you do for a Little Debbie?”
“Listen, we like Little Debbie’s just as much as the next guy, but this guy went above and beyond to satisfy his sweet tooth,” Bardstown police said. “Our John Doe here was seen on camera cutting a lock and loading up 10 cases of Little Debbie’s.”
The police department said the stolen Little Debbie’s are valued at $700.
And Bardstown police have a few questions related to the burglary:
- First off, can we all agree that having a storage unit full of Little Debbie’s is the real American dream?
- Second of all, how did he know they were there? Inside job? Divine intervention?
- What was he after—Nutty Bars? Swiss Rolls? Zebra Cakes?
- Is this resale? A binge? A black market brownie ring? What’s he doing with them?
Anyone with information regarding this burglary is asked to contact the Bardstown Police Department at 502-348-6811.
