
A Grayson County man with a history of run-ins with law enforcement is being accused of assault, burglary and theft among other counts.
Dustin E. Davis, 29, of Leitchfield was recently indicted by a Grayson County Grand Jury for second-degree assault, second-degree burglary, theft by unlawful taking (over $10,000, less than $1 million), and criminal mischief.
He’s being held in the Grayson County Detention Center on four bonds totaling $40,000.
Davis, according to the Kentucky Department of Corrections, was placed into a pre-trial diversion program following his arrest by the Leitchfield Police Department on January 25, 2023. He was charged in that case with two counts of third-degree possession of a controlled substance, first-degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and having a prescription controlled substance not in its proper container.
He was placed in pre-trial diversion on November 1, 2023.
In that case, Davis was charged with receiving stolen property (more than $1,000, less than $10,000), possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
