A Grayson County teenager has been seriously injured in a UTV accident.
The wreck occurred Saturday evening at approximately 6:35 on Hollow Church Road, a dead-end street off the 9200 block of Owensboro Road (Hwy 54).
The Leitchfield Fire Department, EMS and Kentucky State Police responded to the scene. Upon arriving, first responders found that a 19-year-old male had been seriously injured in a UTV crash. The vehicle was found by first responders in the middle of the roadway and was moved by firefighters to clear the way for EMS personnel.
The teenager suffered serious injuries, including a severe head injury. He was airlifted from Rough River State Park Airport, as the Falls of Rough Fire Department assisted by setting up a landing zone, to a Louisville hospital.
Kentucky State Police is investigating the incident.
