Rachel Jill Webb, age 72, peacefully entered her heavenly home on Friday, August 8, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family and friends
Jill was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, friend and dedicated homemaker, not just maintaining a home, but creating a place where love lived, laughter echoed, and memories were made. She never asked for much—only that her family was happy, healthy, and close.
Jill found joy in the simple things—attending church, spending time with loved ones, and pouring herself into the things she loved most. She enjoyed mushroom hunting, fishing, and hunting, and was especially fond of playing cards with her family. Jill had a gift for cooking, canning, and gardening, and took great pride in providing for her family and friends. Her hands were rarely still, and everything she touched was done with love, care, and intention.
Jill found joy in life’s everyday blessings—worshiping at church, being with her loved ones, and pouring herself into the things she loved most.
She loved the Lord deeply and was a faithful member of Broadford Baptist Church, having been saved on July 12, 1976—an important day that forever shaped her life. Her love for the Lord and her family was the foundation of her life.
She is survived by her loving husband of nearly 52 years, Roy Albert Webb; two sons, Rusty (Cindy) Webb of Leitchfield, and Daniel (Angie) Webb of Clarkson; and two grandchildren, Jordan (Destiny) Webb of Clarkson and Trent (Kaitlyn) Day of Leitchfield. She was also blessed with four great-grandchildren: Oakleigh Webb, Hadley Day, Dylan Day, and Harper Day.
Jill is also survived by her sister, Rocky Willis of Clarkson; sisters-in-law, Verna Logsdon of Clarkson and Sue Logsdon of Elizabethtown; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Love Logsdon; her brothers Laymon, Lloyd “Doc”, Bobby, Leroy “Pig,” and Brother Jackie Logsdon; and her sisters Bernice Nelson and Penny Beeler.
Jill will be remembered for her kind spirit, unwavering faith, and deep love for her family. She leaves behind a legacy of love that will live on in her sons, her grandchildren, and all who were lucky enough to know her. Her memory will be cherished, her presence deeply missed, and her love felt forever.
Funeral services will be held at 1 PM (CT), Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at Broadford Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Mikie Clemons officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2 to 8 PM, Monday at Rogers Funeral Home and after 9 AM, Tuesday at the Broadford Baptist Church.
