A community has rallied around a 10-year-old boy missing for a week.
Jayden went missing from his residence on Panbowl Brand Road. He is believed to have left his home during the overnight hours or early morning hours of Tuesday, August 4, according to state police
Jayden is a white male, standing approximately five feet, one inch tall. He has a slim build, blonde hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing blue “Sonic the Hedgehog” pajama pants and a matching shirt.
“Unfortunately, we’ve not been able to locate a lot of evidence suggesting that he would be close by. So unfortunately, we’re kind of at the same spot we were when we started the search,” Kentucky State Police Trooper Matt Gayheart said. “We must continue hope, but unfortunately, at this point, where we’re at in the investigation, it’s a race against the clock. We’re essentially at kind of our last leg. We need to locate him immediately.”
Jayden, according to multiple media outlets, only recently began living with is mother following the death of his great-grandmother.
Reward
A gofundme account was activated Monday morning by Jeff Turner, of Jackson, and Jayden’s aunt, Samantha Brunty, to fund a reward for information leading to Jayden’s return.
The fund, as of early Tuesday morning, had over $2,200, with Turner donating $500.
“This is absolutely breaking my heart,” Turner told FOX56.com. “We all know there’s so much that we don’t know. I just want this baby found.”
