A school bus driver has been killed in a single-vehicle crash.
The accident happened on Monday afternoon at approximately 1:00 on Hwy 1295 near Hurt Lane, about five miles east of Lancaster in Garrard County, according to the Garrard County Sheriff’s Office.
The bus driver, 64-year-old Steve Moore, of Lancaster, was pronounced deceased at the scene by Garrard County Coroner’s Office.
There were no students on the bus.
The sheriff’s office said the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
