Janice Carolyn Robbins, age 82, of Leitchfield, passed away Sunday, (August 10, 2025) at Owensboro Health in Owensboro, KY.
She was born on November 10, 1942 in Fulton, KY, the daughter of the late Noble and Ruby Alexander Jones Mitchell.
She was a seamstress who enjoyed collecting Fenton china and sewing, and was a member of the Wilson United Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Deborah Hack Clemons; two granddaughters, Cassandra Clemons & Briana Clemons Stone (Aaron); five great-grandchildren, Landon, Peyton and Caydon Stone, Alicia Lutz & Leah Brooks; and a brother, Paul Mitchell (Linda). Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her step-father, Elmer Mitchell; a sister, Phyllis Beasley and a brother, Danny Jones.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, (August 15, 2025) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Rev. Carl “Jr” Decker and Deacon John Cecil will be officiating. Burial will be in the Wilson Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. Friday until time of services.
