
A man was killed while pushing his disabled vehicle out of a roadway.
Kentucky State Police said the incident happened Friday night at approximately 7:45 in the 4000 block of Hwy 10 in Mason County.
State police said the investigation showed that a Chevrolet Trailblazer, being driven by Joshua Childers, of Germantown (Mason Co.), struck a Chevrolet Corvette being pushed out of the roadway by 62-year-old Brian Huron, of Maysville.
The Trailblazer continued, striking a Toyota Camry, being driven by Eden Ballard, of Brooksville.
Huron was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Mason Co. Coroner’s Office.
Elizabeth Appleman, a passenger in the Corvette, was airlifted to University of Cincinnati Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.
Childers and another Corvette passenger, Jimmy Keller, and Ballard were transported to Meadowview Regional Medical Center in Maysville where they are listed in stable condition.
The collision remains under investigation by Trooper Dakota Rasche.
