The body of a woman who went missing in late June has been found underneath her home.
Kathryn A. Pipitone, 53, of Aurora (Marshall Co.), was reported missing on June 28. She had last been seen at her home on Hwy 68 in Aurora, approximately 14 miles southeast of Benton.
Pipitone’s body was found on Monday in a crawl space underneath her residence, according to the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office.
It’s unclear at this point if her death was natural or if foul play was involved. According to the National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NaMUS), Pipitone was not in good health and could not walk long distances.
The Marshall Co. Sheriff’s Office is leading the investigation.
