Ronald “Ron” or “Ronnie” Lewis Likins, aged 76, of Falls of Rough, KY passed away on August 31, 2025 at Norton Audubon Hospital in Louisville, KY.
Ron was born on October 06, 1948 in Bowling Green, KY, to Lewis Conway Likins and Ida Mildred Langley Likins. On October 23, 1971, he married the love of his life Patricia Ann Allen. After a few years in Louisville, they moved to the family farm on Rough River Lake in Grayson County where they raised their daughter Veronica and made their home.
Ron was a farmer and worked at Hoover Seng before taking ownership of D & K Meter in Leitchfield, KY, which he and his wife owned and operated for 35 years until they retired.
He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Patricia Ann Likins, daughter Veronica Ann Likins, a granddaughter Caitlyn Nicole (Langley) Lindsey (Briar) and a great-grandson Miller Houston Lindsey. He is also survived by a sister-in-law, Sharon F. Likins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Gary Wayne Likins, and a nephew Kevin Ross Likins.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, (September 04, 2025) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Mike Cannon will be officiating. Burial will be in the Concord Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. Thursday until time of services.
